Fuego Volcano

Fuego Volcano is an active stratovolcano located in Guatemala. It is one of Central America’s most active volcanoes, characterized by frequent eruptions and a significant volume of volcanic activity. The name “Fuego,” meaning “fire” in Spanish, reflects its volcanic nature. The volcano stands at approximately 3,763 meters (12,346 feet) above sea level and is part of the Sierra Madre mountain range. It is known for its eruptions that produce lava flows, ash plumes, and explosive activity, which can impact nearby communities.
